I read what he said, and the basis of what he is saying is this: "The gear doesn't really matter, what matters is the people playing. Get more squads running together in FW"
Which is actually great advice, if not easy to achieve.
I just started a Min FW channel, and it takes a core group of players bringing in everyone they can and leading squads and making sure that nobody gets left out.
Sure enough, after a few days, the whole joint is hopping and I no longer have trouble getting squads.
I know that it will be much harder due the huge lack of support that Cal FW has, but don't give up. If you form a strong enough base and convince people to join, great things will happen, and you'll have some great fights on your hands instead of redlines.

Now you're using the APEX suit as an excuse for you guys loosing.

If Caldari would actually get out and fight and stop bitching about loosing while posting in the intergalactic Summit section while in the redline you guys wouldn't be having this issue.
But the excuses have to stop because you all just look pathetic blaming everyone but yourselves This all happened last year with the Amarr and Min Militias. Could you guys please catch up to the point where our militias have a rough, begrudging respect for one another so we can end this inane and kind of boring. Gallentean "I'm the kings of the World threads" and the Caldarian " I get stomped because I run into FW solo and don't like working with the other Caldari".
We only have that respect because we get drunk after fights together at the local space bar.
Word of Warning: Amarrians kick ass at billiards and darts, but the Minmatar have never lost a game of Beer Pong.

The Minmatar play their pong at the end of the night, with our famous Minmatar Goldrush Punch.
We take all of the half finished drinks, throw them in a bucket and drink at room temperature. Served in cups assembled from other cups and held together with duct tape.
Not to mention we are better shots than you guys. Tossing those Core Locus all day helps with the depth perception ya hear? 
However, when it comes to just pleasant consumption, I stick to the classic Kaalakiota Sunstorm, with lots of Thukker Rum and Civire Brandy, served with a shot of pyerite extract.

Hell, even if I'm up against stacked teams, I'll fuckin put an effort. I'll bring proto if it's worth my time and effort.
And props to you Ghost Kaiser and True Adamance. You'll fight for your faction, duke it out, and still say, "Good game, man" to the opposition. Without that kind of mutual respect, what else is there?
Kirk, I respect the fact that you pride yourself as a Gallentean. And you're a tough guy to fight, which makes it that much enjoyable when I kill you or you kill me. Just leave the belittling shittalk elsewhere.
And Mina, yeah, if we aren't coordinated, we will get **** on because we get new berry militia on our side. You know what the remedy is? Organize them under our banner, along with other great players in our coalition, and guess what? WE CARRY THEM TO VICTORY.
I'll be one to admit that I'm a nobody, but I'll pull my weight and then some.

Best of luck 07 No, it's actually nauseatingly patronizing and painfully obvious, it's 'said' by someone who is quite simply obnoxious, I mean I'd already said it a few months before. Now if I were him I'd have smattered 'boyo' and 'savvy' in there seventeen times, bloated my original point from one sentence to twenty, foreshortened a quarter of it and spelled three quarters of it wrong. Every. Single. Post. is like that.
I was just addressing the content of the post, not the delivery.
